For the wines in AOP Côtes du RoussillonThe soils are composed of granite, clay-limestone and stony terraces. The Mediterranean climate is ideal for the development of the vine. Fleshy, fruity and spicy wines are produced, but also with flowery scents.
L'AOP Côtes du Roussillon Village les Aspres is the last born of the Roussillon crus. This vineyard covers 19 communes of the Aspres. The terroir is composed of siliceous clay and clay-limestone terraces. The wines of this appellation require a minimum of 12 months of maturation.
The wines, with the appellation Collioure, are located between the Mediterranean Sea and the Pyrenees mountain range. A vineyard of 330 hectares extends over the communes of Banyuls-sur-Mer, Cerbère, Collioure and Port-Vendres.
Recognized as an appellation in 1956, the Muscat de Rivesaltes is the only natural sweet wine that can be made from two varieties of Muscat: Muscat petits grains and Muscat d'Alexandrie. Not far from the Mediterranean Sea, the climate is warm and the soils are diversified.
The Rivesaltes is a wine appellation whose wines are produced in the Roussillon vineyards. There are different categories of wines in Rivesaltes: Rivesaltes grenat, Rivesaltes ambré and Rivesaltes tuilé. The Rivesaltes garnet is a wine very marked by aromas of red fruits like cherry, raspberry and blackberry. The Rivesaltes amber is appreciated for its notes of dried fruits such as hazelnut, almond, walnut, but also aromas of candied fruits such as citrus. Rivesaltes tuilé is distinguished by its notes of cocoa beans and coffee. It can be kept for a long time in the cellar, made from red grape varieties.
